Adrian Lohmüller ‘Good Morning Mr. Laing’

heldart is introducing ‘Interstitial’ – a platform for contemporary young artists and curators  to use the empty exhibition space for ‘in between’ shows.

Adrian Lohmüller starts the show-jumping course with “Good Morning Mr. Laing”. He builds ‘psycho – architectures’ with architectural fragments, which define exterior and interior spaces, dismantle supply lines, rip floors apart, are intimidating and violent. Lohmüllers’ architectural objects research the transitory state of time and space. The inter-relation of ‘now’ and its simultaneous absence remind on nomadic conditions, which dissolve the claim of architecture for a permanent environment. An intact space opens within this emptiness in an attempt to override the past while pushing away the future.
